Maxine Schreiber

Maxine received her B.A. degree in Fine Arts in New Jersey in 1969.  She taught oil painting and exhibited her work in the 70's and early 80's in Cambridge, Massachusetts where she was a juried member of the Cambridge Art Association.   After receiving a Masters Degree in Expressive Therapies she put painting aside to practice as a psychotherapist for over 20 years.

In 2001 she began painting again and the next year was accepted as a juried artist member of Women In The Visual Arts.  Her rich landscapes have been exhibited in a number of juried shows throughout Palm Beach County including the Armory Art Center, Palm Beach County Art in Public Places at Palm Beach International Airport, and Northwood University where she won First Place 2D in 2004.

In 2005 she closed her private practice to devote herself to oil painting.  She enjoys painting landscapes, seascapes as well as house portraits, and in the past year has been concentrating on "collage style" works.
