I showed an artistic talent at a very early age, winning my first Art Award at age five for my finger painting of a bouquet of flowers. I won several more awards in high school, but did not pursue painting afterwards. I always knew I would return to painting at some future time.
After a very successful 40 year career in banking and moving to Florida in 2011, I began painting landscapes and tropical birds with acrylics in 2014. I am truly inspired by Florida coral sunsets, beaches, colorful native wildlife & amazing palm trees which I incorporate into my artwork. My collection of Tropical Bird paintings include Blue Herons, Pelicans, Snowy Egrets, a Flamingo and White Swans. I am in awe of the beauty and grace of these birds and plan to add more paintings to this collection.
