HOSPITALART
A program of Women In The Visual Arts
BACKGROUND: WITVA's HOSPITALART Program was established in 1999 on the belief that exposure to colorful
and imaginative art has an uplifting effect on the human spirit. Our artists create original designs on a single
18 x 24 inch canvas or multiple canvases making large murals. All of the art is donated to not-for-profit
facilities to enhance the patient/resident and caregiver/visitor environment in Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach
counties in Florida.
RECIPIENT FACILITIES/ORGANIZATIONS: HOSPITALART donates art only to not-for-profit facilities such
as hospitals, children's aid facilities, youth and crisis centers and residences, minority health clinics,
hospices and nursing homes, and similar facilities.
FUNDRAISING: HOSPITALART is soley funded by donations.
